AMI's library in Amsterdam is the most comprehensive Montessori library in the world; it not only includes all of Montessori's own works, and translations in multiple languages, but also important collections of seminal historical Montessori magazines. The range of secondary literature covers many languages, and one of the most unique aspects is the inclusion of books that Maria Montessori and her son Mario owned, consulted and used as inspiration.
The legacy team are working on a comprehensive bibliography of the first editions of Maria Montessori’s works with providing you with "nice-to-know" details. You will be able to enjoy design of original covers of the first editions, dedications, and reviews of her books in the general and educational press of the time.
Also expect more background on some of the major people, their ideas and writings that inspired Maria Montessori.
