The AMI Montessori Archives continue to grow: they are a dynamic archive, as from all over the world we are offered historical papers, documents and photographs by Montessorians, or their heirs. If you'd like to donate historical material, please write to archives@montessori-ami.org.
How can I access additional archival material?
Please drop us a line at archives@montessori-ami.org. When you put in a query, please be as specific as possible in your ask and clarify the purpose of your research. Catch-all questions that lack specifics cannot be accommodated.
Montessori books have been translated into 33 languages with new translations added each year. A comprehensive list will be added to this website as well as news stories highlighting new books or translations.
How can Montessori books be translated into my language?
If you are interested in translating any of our content, our publications or writings by Maria Montessori or Mario M. Montessori, please be aware that these are copyright. We are happy to hear from you in this regard to discuss further by emailing info@montessori-ami.org.
Research
Where can I find further details about Montessori research?
For additional resources, please see the AMI Research Threads, established by AMI's Global Research Group to curate, highlight and comment upon the increasingly rich and diverse body of research into the Montessori approach.
Visits
Maria Montessori Study Visits
We curate Maria Montessori’s study with the utmost care, love, and attention to detail. Many visitors tell us that simply stepping into the study and absorbing its atmosphere is a deeply moving experience.
Please note that all visits are hosted by a member of AMI’s legacy team; we offer slots on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only, when we can schedule 30-minute slots. We regret that we cannot accommodate visits during weekend days, December or Easter holidays when our office is closed for business (refer to our main website for specific closure dates).
If you would like to plan a visit or hear more about the study and our work, please contact visits@montessori-ami.org.
Have any additional questions?
