About this book
Camillo Grazzini
description
An article by Camillo Grazzini in The NAMTA Journal, Volume 22, Number 1, Pathways to Maturity: Fullfilling the Montessori Vision, pages 40 to 63. The first section of Mr Grazzini's article defines Cosmic Education with a brief retrospective of Mario Montessori's concrete illustration of the interdisciplinary and synthetic nature of the program. The second part introduces "The Great River" as a sixth "Great Lesson". Taking the story's description of the human body's systems as an allegory for the purposeful, cooperative functioning of the "great human society", Mr Grazzini demonstrates Maria Montessori's aim, "to make this profound realisation of universal solidarity blossom in our children".
