This is a silver plated box that was presented by the Karachi Municipality in May of 1946. It marks my stay there whilst delivering the last course before returning to Europe after the second world war. The box shows an adult figurine (supposedly me!) with a few children reading, all under the palm trees. The box travelled quite extensively before it found its final place here in my study.
